Project Synergy
Masterplan Integration:
- Designed as architectural extension of Darbandsar 1 (2020)
- Unified façade language and structural philosophy
- Coordinated rooflines creating cohesive mountain silhouette
Site-Specific Innovations
Parameter | Solution |
16m North-South Slope | Terraced foundations with cantilever increments |
Existing Fruit Orchards | L-shaped footprint preserving western tree line |
-20°C Alpine Climate | Triple-glazed enclosures + thermal mass strategy |
Ski Access | Replicated gear circulation diagram from sister project |
Architectural Continuity
Signature Elements:
- Tilted Southern Façade: slope minimizing snow accumulation
- Exposed Concrete Shell: Identical formwork patterns to sister project
- Bi-Level Terraces: Semi-covered outdoor spaces with integrated snow guards
Evolution from Phase 1:
- Optimized structural buttress angles
- Expanded unit sizes in one level
- Enhanced solar exposure according to the sun’s rotation schedule
Technical Specifications
Structural System:
- Cast-in-place concrete with architectural forming
- Northern retaining walls with perpendicular counterforts
- piles and foundations anchored to bedrock
Sustainability Features:
- 88% passive solar utilization (improved from Phase 1)
- Glacier-inspired runoff management system
- Native greenery integration with concrete surfaces
